2020-2021 | VERMONT | 170 | 754 | Status | Year to Year Comparison: A difference of at least 20% exists in the number of LEAs included in this file between the prior year and the current year. | LEAs who receive McKinney-Vento subgrants in Vermont are Supervisory Unions/Districts. A supervisory union is the administative entity for more than one school district while a supervisory district has only one school disctrict & the supervisory union & district are basically one in the same entity. In prior years when a supervisory union received the grant, the school districts within the union were also listed as receiving the grant. This was done so that cross file comparisons by USED could be done between this file and other LEA files that are submitted by operating district. However, it was not known by VTAOE program staff which school districts within the SU that funds were actually distributed to. In an attempt to increase accuracy only the SU/SD is listed as having received a grant in SY2021. |
