1 Description: The total unduplicated statewide number of participating migrant children who received any MEP-funded support service during the regular school year (including counseling services).; Academic Year: 2009-10; Grade: N/A; Note: The total unduplicated statewide number of participating migrant children who received any migrant education program (MEP) -funded support service during the regular school year (including counseling services). Children should be reported only once regardless of the frequency with which they received a support service intervention. Support Services are defined as MEP-funded services that include, but are not limited to, health, nutrition, counseling, and social services for migrant families; necessary educational supplies, and transportation. The one-time act of providing instructional or informational packets to a child or family does not constitute a support service. A dash (-) indicates that the data are not available. The symbol “n<” indicates that the data have been suppressed due to a small count. The symbols "> 97%" and "< 3%" indicate that the value is higher than 97 percent or less than 3 percent, respectively. CT: Connecticut ended its participation in the Education of Migrant Children program in 2007.
DC: There are no migrant children in the District of Columbia.
NM: New Mexico's migrant program does not provide Counseling Services or Support Services. New Mexico only provides Reading and Math services for migrant.
ND: North Dakota provides a supplemental summer migrant education program only.
PR: Puerto Rico has no Migrant Program.
RI: Rhode Island does not operate a Title 1 - Part C Migrant Education Program.
SC: South Carolina has no regular MEP program during the regular school year.
WY: Wyoming has no Migrant Education Program funded during the regular school year.
