1 Description: The unduplicated statewide number of participating migrant out of school youth who received any type of instructional service funded in whole or in part with MEP funds during the summer/intercession term (including reading instruction, mathematics instruction, high school credit accrual or any other type of instructional service) that was provided by either a teacher or a paraprofessional.; Academic Year: 2010-11; Grade: N/A; Note: The unduplicated statewide number of participating migrant out of school youth who received any type of instructional service funded in whole or in part with migrant education program (MEP) funds during the summer/intercession term (including reading instruction, mathematics instruction, high school credit accrual or any other type of instructional service) that was provided by either a teacher or a paraprofessional. Children should be reported only once for this category regardless of the frequency with which they received a service intervention. Instructional Services are MEP-funded instruction in a subject area provided for students on a regular or systematic basis, usually for a predetermined period of time. It can include instruction provided by MEP-funded teachers or MEP-funded paraprofessionals. This category also includes correspondence courses taken by a student. The one-time act of providing instructional packets to a child or family does not constitute an instructional service. A dash (-) indicates that the data are not available. The symbol "n<" indicates that the data have been suppressed due to a small count. The symbols "> 97%" and "< 3%" indicate that the value is higher than 97 percent or less than 3 percent, respectively.
