1 Description: The unduplicated statewide number of participating migrant children in grades 4 and 5 who received any type of instructional service funded in whole or in part with MEP funds during the summer/intercession term (including reading instruction, mathematics instruction, high school credit accrual or any other type of instructional service) that was provided by either a teacher or a paraprofessional.; Academic Year: 2011-12; Grade: N/A; Note: The unduplicated statewide number of participating migrant children in grades 4 and 5 who received any type of instructional service funded in whole or in part with migrant education program (MEP) funds during the summer/intercession term (including reading instruction, mathematics instruction, high school credit accrual or any other type of instructional service) that was provided by either a teacher or a paraprofessional. Children should be reported only once for this category regardless of the frequency with which they received a service intervention. Instructional Services are MEP-funded instruction in a subject area provided for students on a regular or systematic basis, usually for a predetermined period of time. It can include instruction provided by MEP-funded teachers or MEP-funded paraprofessionals. This category also includes correspondence courses taken by a student. The one-time act of providing instructional packets to a child or family does not constitute an instructional service. A dash (-) indicates that the data are not available. The symbol "n<" indicates that the data have been suppressed due to a small count. The symbols "> 97%" and "< 3%" indicate that the value is higher than 97 percent or less than 3 percent, respectively.
