1 Description: The unduplicated statewide number of participating migrant children in grades 4 and 5 who are failing, or most at risk of failing to meet academic content and achievement standards, and whose education has been interrupted during the summer/intercession term.; Academic Year: 2010-11; Grade: N/A; Note: The unduplicated statewide number of participating migrant children in grades 4 and 5 who are failing, or most at risk of failing to meet academic content and achievement standards, and whose education has been interrupted during the summer/intercession term. This term is described in the Definitions section of the site, and comes from section 1304(d) of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act. Each state must have sufficient procedures in place to ensure that migrant children are classified as Priority for Service (PFS). PFS students must not only be failing or at most risk of failing, but also must have had their education interrupted during the summer/intercession term. This number includes children who were identified as PFS during the reporting period. Further detail about "services" can be found in the Definitions section of the site. A dash (-) indicates that the data are not available. The symbol "n<" indicates that the data have been suppressed due to a small count. The symbols "> 97%" and "< 3%" indicate that the value is higher than 97 percent or less than 3 percent, respectively.
