Children should be reported only once for this category regardless of the frequency with which they received a service intervention. Instructional Services are MEP-funded instruction in a subject area provided for students on a regular or systematic basis, usually for a predetermined period of time. It can include instruction provided by MEP-funded teachers or MEP-funded paraprofessionals. This category also includes correspondence courses taken by a student. The one-time act of providing instructional packets to a child or family does not constitute an instructional service.
