The unduplicated statewide number of participating migrant children in grades 9 to 12 who received migrant education program (MEP) -funded reading instruction during the regular school year, provided by a teacher only (these counts should be a subset of the counts reported for "Instructional Services"). This category includes correspondence courses taken by a student under the supervision of a teacher.
Children may be reported as having received more than one type of instructional service. However, children should be reported only once within each type of instructional service that they received regardless of the frequency with which they received the instructional service.
Reading Instruction is defined as instruction in reading provided by a MEP-funded teacher for students on a regular or systematic basis, usually for a predetermined period of time.
A dash (-) indicates that the data are not available. The symbol “n<” indicates that the data have been suppressed due to a small count. The symbols "> 97%" and "< 3%" indicate that the value is higher than 97 percent or less than 3 percent, respectively. A “†” symbol means not applicable.
