The total unduplicated statewide number of participating migrant children who received migrant education program (MEP) -funded mathematics instruction during the regular school year, provided by a teacher only (these counts should be a subset of the counts reported for "Instructional Services"). This category includes correspondence courses taken by a student under the supervision of a teacher.

Children may be reported as having received more than one type of instructional service. However, children should be reported only once within each type of instructional service that they received regardless of the frequency with which they received the instructional service.

Mathematics Instruction is defined as instruction in mathematics provided by a MEP-funded teacher for students on a regular or systematic basis, usually for a predetermined period of time.
