Note: The unduplicated statewide number of homeless students who were enrolled in public schools in local education agencies (LEAs) that received McKinney-Vento subgrants whose primary nighttime residence is doubled-up (e.g., living with another family). The primary nighttime residence is defined as the type of residence where a homeless child or unaccompanied youth is staying at the time of enrollment or the type of residence where a currently enrolled child or youth is staying when he or she is identified as homeless. Primary nighttime residence is the primary basis for identifying homeless children and youth. This number does not include homeless students enrolled in LEAs without McKinney-Vento subgrants. The total includes students from age 3 to grade 12 and ungraded students. A dash (-) indicates that the data are missing or not available.
