Steps for downloading the data you need (For more details, go to FAQs)

  1. Use the filters to the left to choose your data of interest (Tip: For File Specification and Data Group filters, hover over titles for more information)
  2. Select "RESET FILTERS" at any time to return to the default filters
  3. Once you have selected the data you need, click on the "DOWNLOAD DATA" button to download CSV and data notes. Your data will export immediately.

Note on download size: If the current size of the dataset exceeds 250,000 rows, the Department recommends that you use filters to reduce the size of the file (e.g. select a subset of states) and download the file in batches. A file that exceeds 1 million rows will not download completely.

2021-2022 ALASKA 150, 151 695, 696 LEA Prior Year Count Comparison (LEA): Submitted data indicated that the ALL cohort count (grand total) changed by more than 10% and 50 students or more from the prior year to the current year for 2 LEAs that have a cohort count of 250 students or more. While this may be correct, this is a larger change than we would typically expect to see. The increase in total cohort count is due to an increase in high school enrollment counts for SY 2021-2022.
2021-2022 ALASKA 150, 151 695, 696 SEA Prior Year Rate Comparison (SEA): The current SY Four-Year graduation rate is higher/lower by 3 percentage points or more than the prior SY Four-Year graduation rate for the following subgroups with total cohort counts of 500 students or more: EL. Discrepancies by subgroup: - EL: -4.14% The overall decrease in EL students was due primarily to the department's removal of a provisionally identified English criteria from the data collection that is used to generate this file for SY 2021-2022. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the department has added a criteria for reporting potential EL students defined as: Provisionally identified English learner- A student who is very likely an English learner, but due to extended school closures, is unable to be formally identified with in-person screening using an approved screener. The student is provisionally identified as an English learner to provide English language development services until formal identification is possible.
2021-2022 ARIZONA 150, 151 695, 696 SEA Prior Year Count Comparison (SEA): Submitted data indicated that the total cohort count (grand total) changed by more than 10% (and more than 250 students) from the prior year to the current year for the following subgroups: EL, FCS. Discrepancies by subgroup: - EL: 889 students, or 17.72% - FCS: 351 students, or 111.78% While this may be correct, this is a larger change than we would typically expect to see. 2021-2022 ARIZONA 150, 151 695, 696 SEA Reported Rate to Calculated Rate Comparison: The reported graduation rate (FS150) does not match the graduation rate calculated using reported counts (FS151) for the following subgroups: ALL, CWD, ECODIS, EL, FCS, HOM, MA, MAN, MB, MHL, MM, MNP, MW. The difference between the reported and calculated rates ranges from -0.21% to 0.52%. These should match by up to four decimal places.
2021-2022 ARKANSAS 150, 151 695, 696 LEA Prior Year Count Comparison (LEA): Submitted data indicated that the ALL cohort count (grand total) changed by more than 10% and 50 students or more from the prior year to the current year for 3 LEAs that have a cohort count of 250 students or more. While this may be correct, this is a larger change than we would typically expect to see. One district experienced a large increase in enrollment from 2020 to 2022 in part due to the COVID-19 pandemic and parents enrolling their students in a fully virtual high school. Other districts have seen year to year variability during the COVID-19 pandemic.
2021-2022 ARKANSAS 150, 151 695, 696 LEA Prior Year Rate Comparison (LEA): The current SY Four-Year grand total graduation rate is higher/lower by 3 percentage points or more than the prior SY Four-Year graduation rate in 4 LEAs containing 500 students or more. While this may be correct, it is a larger change than we would typically expect to see. During SY 2020-2021, schools experienced disruptions based on COVID-19 levels within communities. Schools pivoted from face-to-face to virtual/hybird learning as needed. Some students moved among schools and districts more, based on virtual offerings and community spread. This resulted in variation in denominators for high schools (expected graduates) when on-time students transferred among programs.
