Data Download Tool
Steps for downloading the data you need (For more details, go to FAQs)
- Use the filters to the left to choose your data of interest (Tip: For File Specification and Data Group filters, hover over titles for more information)
- Select "RESET FILTERS" at any time to return to the default filters
- Once you have selected the data you need, click on the "DOWNLOAD DATA" button to download CSV and data notes. Your data will export immediately.
Note on download size: If the current size of the dataset exceeds 250,000 rows, the Department recommends that you use filters to reduce the size of the file (e.g. select a subset of states) and download the file in batches. A file that exceeds 1 million rows will not download completely.
ATTENTION returning users: To improve site performance, the default for this page has changed to one state only.
Please choose all your filters of interest BEFORE updating the state filter to your state of interest. If you want to download all states in a file after choosing your other filters of interest, choose 'Deselect All' in the state filter. The boxes will remain empty, but all states will be in your dataset.
Your query returned no results.

2021-2022 | ALABAMA | 037, 134 | 548, 670 | LEA | Across File: In 2 LEA(s), the number of students participating and served by Title I, Part A schoolwide programs and targeted assistance programs reported in FS037/DG548 is not equal to the number of students participating in schoolwide programs and targeted assistance programs reported in FS134/DG670 by 1% or more. | The LEAs are transitioning to a new student data management system. User error at the LEA level results in some students not having race identified in the system. The SEA chooses not to report missing race in 037. Therefore, this resulted in a 1% or more discrepancy for these 2 LEAs. The LEAs have certified this data as correct. |
2021-2022 | ALABAMA | 203 | 839 | SEA | Year to Year Comparison: The SEA data indicate a change of -19.3% between the current school year number of inexperienced teachers and the prior school year number of inexperienced teachers in FS203/DG839. Please resubmit current year or prior year data or submit a data note to explain why these data are accurate.
2021-2022 | ALABAMA | 134, 129 | 670, 22 | LEA | 2 LEA(s) were reported as having schools operating targeted assistance programs in current year FS129/DG22 but no targeted assistance program counts were reported for schools in the LEAs for current year FS134/DG670. | The LEAs are transitioning to a new data management system. The students were not marked as being served in a Targeted Assistance Program, but the LEA certified this data as correct. |
2021-2022 | ALABAMA | 175, 178, 179, 185, 188, 189 | 583, 584, 585, 588, 589, 590 | SEA | A year to year change of more than 200 students and 10% was identified for at least one subgroup, assessment type, or grade. | The year-to-year differences for these subgroups can be explained by the small N size for the groups. |
2021-2022 | ALABAMA | 185, 188, 189 | 588, 589, 590 | SEA | 1% CWD Alternate Assessment Participation: Students with Disabilities (IDEA) (CWD) taking the alternate assessment based on alternate achievement standards (ALTPARTALTACH) make up 1.19% of the total student participant population in the Mathematics, Reading/Language Arts, Science assessment. The ESEA, as amended, requires that the total number of students assessed in such subject using the alternate assessments (ALTPARTALTACH) does not exceed 1 percent of the total number of all students in the State who are assessed in such subject. ED notes that this State has a waiver of the 1% cap requirement in this subject area.
2021-2022 | ALABAMA | 185, 188, 189 | 588, 589, 590 | SEA | CWD Alternate Assessment Participation (FS185, 188, 189): The number of students with Disabilities (IDEA) (CWD) taking the alternate assessment based on alternate achievement standards (ALTPARTALTACH) does not equal the total number of students participating in the alternate assessment (ALTPARTALTACH). The difference is - Mathematics: 267 students, or 5.60% - Reading/Language Arts: 266 students, or 5.60% - Science: 100 students, or 5.00% | The discrepancy is due to Alternate students who tested on the ACAP Alternate but whose IEP status changed to “inactive” when data were matched to 9th month enrollment. |
