2015-2016 ALABAMA 175 583 LEA, SEA Alabama made the following changes to its regular assessments for high school between SY2014-15 and SY2015-16: (1) Changed cut scores, (2) Changed proficiency standards, (3) Significantly changed assessment items, and (4) Used entirely new assessment. As a result, the State's SY2015-16 results are not comparable to prior years.
2016-2017 ALASKA 175 583 LEA, SEA Alaska made the following changes to its regular assessments for high school between SY2015-16 and SY2016-17: (1) Changed cut scores, (2) Significantly changed assessment items, and (3) Used entirely new assessment. Additionally, Alaska indicated changing its regular assessments for grades 3 through 8. As a result, the State's SY2016-17 results are not comparable to prior years.

The scale and score ranges for PEAKS are different than those used with previous summative assessments. Please note that Alaska canceled general and alternate assessment during the 2015-2016 school year.
