As a result, the State's SY2015-16 results are not comparable to prior years.
2016-2017 ALASKA 178 584 LEA, SEA Alaska made the following changes to its regular assessments for high school between SY2015-16 and SY2016-17: (1) Changed cut scores, (2) Significantly changed assessment items, and (3) Used entirely new assessment. Additionally, Alaska indicated changing its regular assessments for grades 3 through 8. As a result, the State's SY2016-17 results are not comparable to prior years.

The scale and score ranges for PEAKS are different than those used with previous summative assessments. Please note that Alaska canceled general and alternate assessment during the 2015-2016 school year.
