2017-2018 ALASKA 150, 151 695, 696 SEA The SY 2017-18 Four-Year graduation rate is higher by 10 percentage points or more than the SY 2013-14 Four-Year graduation rate for the following subgroups with total cohort counts of 500 students or more: American Indian, Children with one or more disabilities, Economically Disadvantaged and English Learners. The 4-year cohort graduation rate for MAN, CWD, ECODIS and LEP have increased by more than 10% between 2013-14 and 2017-18. Seniors that graduated in 2014 were the first cohort not required to pass the High School Graduation Qualifying Exam (HSGQE).

Changes where made to data source of LEP. Similar increase in LEP student have been identified on membership as well.

2017-2018 DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA 150 695 SEA The SY 2017-18 Four-Year graduation rate is higher/lower by 3 percentage points or more than the SY 2016-17 Four-Year graduation rate for the following subgroups with total cohort counts of 500 students or more: All Students, Economically Disadvantaged, English Learners, Asian/Pacific Islander, Black or African American, Hispanic/Latino, White or Caucasian (Not Hispanic), and Children with Disabilities. ED Note: State indicated that data were correct as reported. DCPS reported a lower graduation rate in SY 2017-18 compared to SY 2016-17; this change drove much of the observed state-level changes as DCPS students comprise approximately half of all DC students.
2016-2017, 2015-2016, 2014-2015, 2013-2014, 2012-2013, 2011-2012, 2010-2011 DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA 150, 150151, 151 695, 695696, 696 LEA, SEA District of Columbia: The Office of the State Superintended of Education (OSSE) calculates the ACGR based on certified graduates lists that are provided by LEAs to OSSE.  Each LEA is responsible for applying its graduation policies to its potential graduates when creating the certified graduates list.  One of DC’s LEAs is modifying its method for applying its graduation policies, which may result in future changes to these numbers. The data are correct as submitted and reflect ongoing efforts by Florida to raise its graduation rate.
