2015-2016 OHIO 178 584 LEA, SEA Ohio made the following changes to its regular assessments for all grades between SY2014-15 and SY2015-16: (1) Changed cut scores, (2) Changed proficiency standard, and (3) Used entirely new assessment. As a result, the State's SY2015-16 results are not comparable to prior years.
2018-2019 OHIO 175, 178, 179, 185, 188, 189 583, 584, 585, 588, 589, 590 SEA, SCH The sum of foster care students reported at the school-level is less than the SEA-level. The difference is approximately 77 percent. Similar to military-affiliated students and homeless students, students in foster care may be more mobile than other groups of students. In such scenarios, a student may not spend the majority of his or her time in one particular school, or even school district. Rather than assigning students to "Accountable" schools and LEAs for participation and proficiency purposes, they are more accurately reported with "Participation" schools and LEAs.

2014-2015 OHIO 178 584 LEA, SEA Ohio made the following changes to its regular assessments for grades 3 through 8 between SY2013-14 and SY2014-15: (1) Changed cut scores, (2) Significantly changed assessment items, (3) Used entirely new assessment, (4) Realigned assessment to new content standards, and (5) Used the Ohio Achievement test for Grade 3; all other tests moved to the Ohio State Test. As a result, the State's SY2014-15 results are not comparable to prior years.
2014-2015 OHIO 178 584 LEA, SEA The number of homeless enrolled students who took an assessment and received a valid score at the SEA level does not equal the LEA number of homeless enrolled students who took an assessment and received a valid score. This is a discrepancy of about 7 percent (674 to 685 students).
