About Student Support and Academic Enrichment Program (Title IV, Part A)
The Student Support and Academic Enrichment (SSAE) Program improves student's academic achievement by increasing the capacity of States, local educational agencies, schools and local communities to:
- provide all students with access to a well-rounded education;
- improve school conditions for student learning; and
improve the use of technology in order to improve the academic achievement and digital literacy for all students.
The data are collected under the authority of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA) of 1965, as amended by the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA), the McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act (2015), and the Department of Education Organization Act (20 USC 3413(c)(1)).
