Discrepancies by subgroup: - FCS: -6.55% The COVID-19 pandemic created additional barriers for foster students. It is believed that these barriers may have resulted in this temporary decrease in the graduation rate among this cohort.
2020-2021 SOUTH DAKOTA 150, 151 695, 696 Performance SEA to LEA Comparison: The SEA 4-Year Total Cohort Count is different from the aggregated LEA Total Cohort Count, when aggregated to the FCS, MAN subgroups. Differences between SEA and LEA (by subgroup): - FCS: 28 students, or 46.67%, - MAN: 35 students, or 3.38% All of these students are/were in placement facilities so they are counted at State level only.
